The Italcementi Center for Research and Innovation includes offices, laboratories, conference and educational facilities, and will be a benchmark of sustainable design in Europe. The owner and the design team, led by Richard Meier Architects, have collaborated closely with Viridian in creating a highly efficient, green building. The work was started when Viridian professionals were the Energy/Green/Commissioning group of a different company. This group formed Viridian's nucleus in 2006.
