The professionals of Viridian, in support of architect/engineer Ballinger of Philadelphia, provided sustainability consulting and energy efficiency analyses. Viridian provided advice on both base building and laboratory-specific "green" systems and practices. Strategies investigated included, among others, enthalpy recovery, greywater reuse and ventilation optimization.

The project was performed when Viridian professionals were the Energy/Green/Commissioning group of another company. This group formed Viridian's nucleus in 2006. The building was completed in 2007.
