Designed by Hollis + Miller Architects, the new middle school will provide a multifunctional learning environment that facilitates daily exposure to issues of environmental responsibility. The building will have a ground-coupled geothermal heat pump with the well field located beneath the practice football field. The new middle school is currently under construction and will open in the fall of 2010. Viridian is providing LEED consulting services.
