The North Residential Village (Village at 115) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH is pursuing certification under the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) initiative. The project consists of seven residence "Houses". Houses 1-4, 6 and 7 are pursuing LEED Certified ratings. House 5 received a separate LEED Gold rating in January 2008.

The energy analyses results showed that Houses 1-4, 6 and 7 save a total of 37.76 percent over the ASHRAE 90.1 - 1999, which is equivalent to 6 LEED energy points. House 5 saves 41.01 percent over the ASHRAE 90.1, which is also equivalent to 6 LEED energy points.

The professionals of Viridian began work on this project while part of another company. In 2006 the projects and promo of this group had been transferred to Viridian, and the employees of this group have joined Viridian as well.
