The Hunter College School of Social Work is designed by Cooper, Robertson & Partners Architects with WSP Flack + Kurtz as MEP. Viridian is providing energy efficiency and LEED consulting services. Upon completion, the academic building will house faculty offices, classrooms, computer, nutrition & food science, and environmental science laboratories.

The project features several notable green initiatives including low energy cost, per NYS Executive Order 111, exceptional water savings via the recycling of rainwater in the cooling tower, an extensive green roof and others.
